BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich. - The third time was the charm for the Marian spikers, as they were able to break through and win the first volleyball title in school history, following finals appearances in 2007 and 2008. Led by Miss Volleyball winner Alex Cocklin and Gatorade Player of the Year Rachel Charles, the Mustangs won 75 straight games throughout the season and defeated Portage Central in four games at the Finals.
