Marian Athletics Announces Spring Tryout Information!
2025-26 MARIAN HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETICS SPRING SPORTS INFORMATION
Marian High School students wishing to participate in a SPRING SPORT must complete the following requirements BEFORE tryouts/practice:
- CREATE AN ACCOUNT and Register on FinalForms (https://marian-mi.finalforms.com/). A link is also available on the Marian Athletic website.
- Personal student emails may not be used.
- GET YOUR SPORTS PHYSICAL!
- Download a form from MHSAA, or pick up a blank form at the main office.
- PRO TIP: If you complete FinalForms registration, you can print a pre-populated form to take to your physician, eliminating duplicated entries!
- UPLOAD YOUR PHYSICAL to your FinalForms account. You will not be eligible to tryout or practice unless your coach can confirm your physical was uploaded. If you have any questions, please contact the athletic office.
- PAY THE ATHLETIC FEE AFTER 3/14/26: Each student will be assessed a $200.00 fee per sport participated in to help cover the costs associated with operating the athletic program at Marian High School.
- Fee is payable only through FinalForms.
- A convenience fee is added to cover payment vendor expenses.
- DO NOT PAY UNTIL YOU MAKE THE TEAM. We encourage you to register your daughter for as many sports as she would like! Once she decides and makes the team, payment will be due before the first contest.
- Payment is NOT due for spring sports until prior to the first contest date in that season.
- If your daughter would like to participate in more than one sport per season, special clearance must be granted by the athletic director.
ELIGIBILITY TO PARTICIPATE:
- Students entering grades 10, 11 and 12 must have:
- Passed at least six (6) classes in the previous semester AND
- Must have attained at least a 2.0 GPA in the previous semester.
- Transfer student eligibility must be determined through the Marian athletic director.

SPRING SPORTS TRYOUTS AND PRACTICE INFORMATION
TENNIS

- Tryouts begin Monday March 9 at Bloomfield Tennis (799 Dennison Ct., Bloomfield Twp., 48302)
- Mar. 9-13: JV, 5:30am – 7am (doors open at 5am)
- Mar. 16-20: Varsity, 5:30-7am (doors open at 5am)
- Varsity Practices after Mar. 20: M-F, 3pm – 4:30pm at Marian HS Courts
- JV Practices after Mar. 20: M-TH, 4:30pm-6pm at Marian HS Courts
- Athletes must bring their own racket(s), tennis shoes, appropriate clothing and water bottle.
SOFTBALL

- Tryouts/Practice begin March 9 at Gym OR Feldman Field
- Mar. 9-11: All Levels, 3pm – 5pm
- Be prepared to practice indoors or outside. Each athlete must bring cleats and gym shoes, softball pants or sweats, tee-shirt and sweatshirt, visor, water bottle, glove, helmet and bat(s) (not mandatory)
SOCCER

- Tryouts begin March 9 at UWM Sports Complex (867 S. Blvd., Pontiac, MI 48341)
- Mar. 9-10: All Levels, 3pm-4:15pm, Field 1
- Mar. 11: All Levels, 2pm - 3:15pm, Field 2
- Practice begins Mar. 12
- Athletes must bring athletic shoes AND cleats, appropriate clothing for indoors or outdoors, soccer ball and water bottle.
LACROSSE

- Tryouts begin March 9 at Marian High School Gymnasium
- Mar. 9: Freshman + new players - 5pm-6:30pm
- 6:30-8pm: returning players (10th, 11th, 12th grades)
- Mar. 10-11: All Levels - @ The Hawk (dependent on availability)
- 5:00pm-6:30pm
- Practice begins Mar. 12th
- Mar. 9: Freshman + new players - 5pm-6:30pm
- Athletes must bring own stick(s), NOCSAE goggles, mouthguard, athletic shoes AND cleats, appropriate clothing for indoors or outdoors, water bottle.
TRACK & FIELD

- Mar. 9-13: All athletes, 4pm – 5:15pm
- Athletes must bring appropriate indoor and outdoor clothing, running shoes and/or track spikes, water bottle.
SAILING (WITH BROTHER RICE)

- Beginning TBD.
- Regattas are on Saturdays and some Sundays
- Cost is TBD (includes coaching/practice fees, use of boats)
- Athletes will need dry suits (can be rented), boots, gloves, PFD.
- No experience is necessary
