No. 3 Marian Soccer claims strong victory over Mason, 4-0
Bloomfield Hills, Mich. - Varsity Soccer, ranked No. 3 in Division 2, secured a decisive 4-0 win last weekend over Mason.
Giulianna Agrusso initiated the scoring 18 minutes into the match, while in the second half, Lily Robinson, Avery Williams, and Nadia Valka each added goals of their own.
The Mustangs' defense was formidable, limiting Mason to just six shots on goal, all which were saved by goalkeeper Olivia Bussa, who claimed her sixth shutout on the year.
With the win, Marian improved to an 8-1-1 record, boasting a 36-4 goal differential on the season.
"We're really hard to beat," coach Danny Price said, "... I'm impressed by our consistency and effort."

Marian went on to claim another victory three days later, defeating Mercy by a final score of 1-0, extending their record to 9-1-1, and a goal differential of 37-4.
The Mustangs will take on Bloomfield Hills at The Hawk in Farmington Hills, on Thursday, May 1, at 6:00 p.m.
