Mustangs fourth at the North Star Bank Invite

BRIGHTON - Marian hosted the North Star Bank varsity golf tournament at Huron Meadows Golf Club Thursday. The Mustangs finished fourth in the 13 team field with a total score of 365. Cranbrook finished first overall (323) while South Lyon (327) and Divine Child (351) rounded out the top three.
Once again, Ashley Carroll led Marian with a 84, finishing tied for 9th overall. Colleen Hand was close behind with an 87 while Stella Lowman and Shannon Snyder both recorded rounds of 97. Lauren Kopera and Campbell Whitty both shot 103.
The varsity golf team will travel to Stoney Creek Metropark on September 8 to take part in the Purple/Gold Tournament.
